Ankara - beautiful African Fabric

This slideshow displays modern African attires and Nigerian (yoruba, ibo & hausa) dolls. Ankara is a beautiful fabric as we all know and it is the most common trend in Nigeria and other African countries as of now.

Ankara was the rejected fabric back in the days. No one wanted to wear it unless they had to do household jobs like cooking, cleaning, fetching water. Today, ankara is the most used fabric and it's just beautiful. Styles ranging from alter necks, spags, fitted shirts, pencil skirts etcetera have been made from Ankara. Enjoy this show and leave a comment. You can request for some of the pictures if you like them.
