Shiikane/Yahooze Nite/Atorise

Happy memorials Day to everyone

I'll start off by introducing yall to Shiikane-  the name of music’s new lyrical trio, consists of 3 Nigerian sisters Shay, Annamay and Baby-K who hail from South East London. Ladies of many talents, they write, arrange and co-produce their own songs. This is central to their work, as their music is strongly influenced by R&B, soul, rock, indie and gospel music.

Pasuma Wonder before the show
Yahooze Night was held at 16400 JL Hudson Dr, Southfield MI on the 23rd of May 2008 (this past friday). Alabi Pasuma Wonder was the star of the night. the event was fun-filled and packed with the young and old. My friend & I attended the event on behalf of Yoruba Youth Corporation.... I personally had fun.

Yall need to see the way everyone was. Old people no wan gree say them old o..... Most fuji musicians are perceived to be perverted, razz...in Nigeria and i think it's unfair that we don't take the time to listen and appreciate music before condemning it.  I listened and danced to everything Pasuma sang. The  lyrics was decent and the music was great... and oh yeah I was able to get a picture with him before the show.

The famous Gospel Nigerian artist Lanre Teriba aka Atorise (title of his first album) has been gracing numerous occasions in the US for the past 5 months. A gospel concert was held in Chicago yesternight and here are some pictures from the fun-filled NIGHT...
