African Cultural Week 2009 Updates



The 4th annual show hosted by the African Students of Wayne State University was a success. The evening was packed with fun and excitement. Hundreds of people gathered in the Community Arts Building of Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan to watch a showcase of African Culture.

Activities ranging from spoken words, dance choreography, to fashion was held. The AC Dancers of Wayne African Student Society rocked the house with the mambo dance. The sensational Dancers delivered; the cultural dancers of Yoruba Youth Corporation were not least, they rocked the house with ijo ibile (traditional yoruba dance).
